1. a mental phenomenon occurring during REM sleep in which images, emotions, and thoughts are experienced with a sense of reality.
2. to experience such a phenomenon.

wet dream  slang for nocturnal emission.

Wet Dream
An occurrence in males during REM sleep, especially affecting pubertal and adolescent boys, which may be divided into:
(1) Polluting dream, sex dream A dream with erotosexual content that one remembers, which ends in ejaculation. The dream’s topical content provides information about one's idiosyncratic lovemap. When the content of wet dreams is retained in memory, they may be of use in psychiatry and psychoanalysis
(2) Nocturnal emission without a dream
