Unfortunately, factors such as diet, lifestyle, climate, environmental pollution, work, relationships and even just the passage of time can cause one or more of the doshas in your prakriti to increase or decrease from its original level, creating vikriti or imbalance.
After determination of their prakriti (their constitution) and vikriti (their current condition) the appropriate means are taken to assist the balance of their bodies--suitable lifestyle, diet, herbs, and pancha karma (purification and rejuvenation practices).
