vikriti (vi·kri·tē),
n in Ayurveda, the prevalent imbalance in dosha that is the cumulative effect of imbalances and impurities present in an individual. Ayurveda aims at rectifying vikriti to restore the deha prakriti. See also dosha and deha prakriti.

After determination of their prakriti (their constitution) and vikriti (their current condition) the appropriate means are taken to assist the balance of their bodies--suitable lifestyle, diet, herbs, and pancha karma (purification and rejuvenation practices).
