Restore $40 million cut by the governor (H 4181) House, 126-27, Senate, 31-5, approved and sent to Governor Deval Patrick a supplemental budget that includes restoration of some $40 million of Patrick's vetoes of $120.
Once he vetoes it, as communications director Anna Richter Taylor said he will, the Legislature can either override the veto or come up with a new schools budget that will meet the governor's approval.
That is what punch-drunk legislators and lobbyists are calling the flurry of vetoes by Gov.
