pertaining to or caused by sexual intercourse or genital contact.

due to or propagated by sexual intercourse. In human medicine now called sexually transmitted disease (STD).

venereal balanoposthitis and vulvitis
of sheep, see ulcerative dermatosis.
canine transmissible venereal tumor (TVT)
occurs mainly on the genitalia, but sometimes other cutaneous sites, of dogs and bitches. The tumor, which is most common in certain geographic areas, especially where dogs roam freely, is transmitted by coitus and may regress spontaneously. The tumor cells contain only 59 chromosomes, compared with the normal complement of 78 in dogs. Called by a variety of names including Sticker's tumor or sarcoma, contagious venereal tumor, venereal granuloma, transmissible lymphosarcoma, transmissible reticulum cell tumor, and infectious sarcoma.

A. Gonorrhea, syphillis, Hepatitis B, Human Papilloma Virus, HIV, urethritis..

A. yes, hepatitis B is an STD, while hepatitis C is less likely caused by sexual transmitted disease.
hepatitis C usually transmitted through drugs usage and blood transfusion

Q. Are cold sores contagious? My boyfriend has cold sores on his mouth. Can I catch it from him? If so, how can I prevent catching it?

A. Cold sores contain the HSV-1 virus, which is the herpes simplex virus . While your boyfriend has cold sores, he should wash his hands often, especially after touching his face. He shouldn't share cups and eating utensils with others since he is very contagious. You should not kiss him or touch the cold sores either, in order not to be infected.
