veins of the vertebral column,
the veins that drain the blood from the vertebral column, adjacent muscles, and meninges of the spinal cord. Along the entire vertebral column these veins form plexuses that are divided into internal and external groups according to their locations inside or outside the vertebral canal. The plexuses and veins of the vertebral network are the external plexus, internal plexus, basivertebral veins, intervertebral veins, and spinal cord veins. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
