Q. What and how much intake should I have 1. Vegetables, 2. Fruits and whole grain… I am 21 years old and would like to know that in order to get the required fiber per day what and how much intake should I have 1. Vegetables, 2. Fruits and whole grain…

A. actually men under 50 should have 38 grams a day of fiber. here is a nice article about fiber consuming and a list of foods that contain fiber and the amount of it:

Q. Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables? what would i gain if i'll do so?

A. Meat is an important constitute of our nutrition, although not essential, and more important, depends on the type and amount. Generally, lean meat (e.g. chicken or turkey) is preferred over red meat, and the amount shouldn't be excessive.

Fruits and vegetables may supply you with vitamins; fluids and large low-calorie bulk of food that may help you keep ideal weight.

However, these are only general advices, and since nutrition is a vast subject, you may want to consult a professional (e.g. a dietitian).

Q. Are there any vitamin supplements that can be had naturally from fruits and vegetables? My cute little girl is academically brilliant. She is very independent too. She is only 4 years. She is not showing interest in any of the food that I prepare for her and this makes me stressed. But I have noticed that she shows interest when I prepare food with some creativity to please her. I cut fruits heart shape, diamond shape etc. This way I can both teach her the shapes and influence her to have the food without any hesitation. I am wondering are there any vitamin supplements that can be had naturally from fruits and vegetables.

A. what a marvelous idea! i'll try to do the same! my son always avoiding vegetables and that can cause lack of vitamins minerals and fiber. vegetables are an important part of the human race nutrition. i heard a nutritionist giving a theory that our color vision comes evolutionary from the importance of defining different colors of our diet. for example,it is known that green vegetables are full of vitamin k which is an important and essential part of our coagulation system.
