Q. What's your 2009 New Year's resolution? Hello friends and members! I encourage you to share your thoughts, aspirations and resolutions for 2009 with us. A. i"d like to get better ... i'd like to do better ... i'd like to be better ... i am suffering from Arthritis , not in it's worst form but still as something that makes my life a bit more difficult ... i'd like to beat it !!! i wish i would be able to go back and do something about it before ... i wish for 2009 , that although it's difficult ,and this is not just for me guys .. this is for all of you out there that their health condition isn't exactly what you would consider normal or the way you wanted it to be ... ,i wish 2009 would be a year that we would be able to forget our problems , or at least ease our concerns , and rise together as a community and as individuals above our problems .. and try to enjoy the simplicity of life and it's advantages... to see the light in the end of the tunnel .. to enjoy our friends and family ... to live the moment .. don't wait for 2010 to define your self again down to the basic ... catch the moment .. live it ... do the things that you a

Q. my father always had a depression syndrom ... his resolution for it always is by drinking , he drinks to compete with his situation , what medicines would be effective to decrease depression symptoms ? how long does it usually takes till the medicine kicks in ? what are the common side effects that are known to have using those medicines ?

A. today there is an effective treatment for depression! in the old days only really bad situation considered as needed of treatment. today there is even couple of different treatments that the doctor can give your father. but this should be the psychiatrist decision and anyway a medicinal treatment if less effective without a psychological treatment.
it usually takes something like 4 weeks to kick in..
