pertaining to the long medial bone of the forearm.

injection of a local anesthetic in the caudal aspect of the forelimb, proximal to the carpus, produces anesthesia on the anterolateral aspect of the metacarpus.
ulnar nerve injury
results in extension of the carpus, a 'dropped' carpus.
