tritanomaly /tri·ta·nom·a·ly/ (tri″tah-nom´ah-le) a rare type of anomalous trichromatic vision in which the third, blue-sensitive, cones have decreased sensitivity.

Partial color blindness resulting from a deficiency of a blue-sensitive retinal pigment.

tritanomaly 
A type of anomalous trichromatism in which an abnormally high proportion of blue is needed when mixing blue and green to match a standard blue-green stimulus. This condition is exceedingly rare: it is estimated at about one person in a million. Syn. tritanomalous trichromatism; tritanomalous vision. See anomaloscope; defective colour vision; pseudoisochromatic plates.
