a symmetrical enlargement of the palpebral fissure.
congenital euryblepharon
seen in brachycephalic dogs; in association with shallow orbits, the eyes are prominent and subject to exposure keratitis.
transient juvenile euryblepharon
occurs in young German shepherd dogs and usually resolves in several months. It gives the appearance of exophthalmos. No other abnormalities are present.
