torque unwinding

    0.04 sec.
torque unwinding (tōrk' n·wīnˑ·ding),
n a technique developed by Elaine Wallace in which the body is separated into an imaginary series of overlapping or adjacent cubes that retain a memory of forces imposed by injury. Using this methodology, the practitioner can apply balanced, rhythmic pressure in a specific location that allows the residual traumatic forces to be negated by the pressure.
