the lateral projection from the lateral intermediate substance of the spinal cord. It is prominent only in the thoracolumbar parts of the cord.

nasal cornu

the slender, ventral part of the comma-shaped alar cartilages that make up the support for the rim of the nostril.

thyroid cartilage cornu

there are rostral and caudal cornua borne on this cartilage.

uterine cornu

the horns of the uterus.

ventral cornu

the ventral horn of gray matter in the spinal cord. Contains the motor horn cells for the neurons of the peripheral nerves.
