n an alkaloid derived from the tuber of corydalis,
Corydalis turtschaninovii, and various other species of plants and acts as a pain-relieving and sleep-inducing agent. It is the active ingredient in Chinese jin bu huan anodyne capsules. Fatigue, vertigo, drowsiness, and nausea are possible side effects. In children, overdose results in respiratory depression and bradycardia. In adults, overdose leads to hepatitis. Also called
