1. characterized by precise positioning in space; said especially of discrete areas of the brain that control specific functions.
2. pertaining to stereotactic surgery.
3. pertaining to thigmotaxis (thigmotactic).

Stereotactic
Characterized by precise positioning in space. When applied to radiosurgery, stereotactic refers to a system of three-dimensional coordinates for locating the target site.
