Q. I’ve been having joint pain for the last two months or so, do I have arthritis? I’m a 32 year old dancer, and those pain affects my work and my life.. What can it be and what can I do with it? Is there a way to ease the pain?

A. Need more details, is it in all of your joints in general? Is it coming and going? Could be that you are having a Rheumatoid Arthritis. This is an autoimmune disease. Your body attacks your joints, the outcome is swallow joints and pain. After a few years without treatment there is deformation of the joints. My grandmother has is and it’s painful. So I recommend- go to specialist and next time don’t wait 2 months to do so...

Q. My 21 year son has chronic sinus issues, I think, due to many high school sports injuries. Help! His ENT has recommended a "nose job" but our insurance will not cover it. Do you know of any holostic, nutritional or homeopathic solutions to keep this under control? When he gets a headache, it shuts him down and normally goes into a migraine.

A. Knows nothing about holystic treatment, but when I think about it, won't it be better to treat it definitely (more or less, I don't really know the situation) than postponing it with intermediate treatment? Have your tried to consult your docotr about that?

Q. how can i know if I am a person of good fitness or not? is there any calculation with height and weight or what ever… thx!

A. people usually think that BMI (body mass index) is the best way to do so but it’s not tru. Think of it- we can be the same height and weight but I’ll be a couch potato and you a body builder. I’m an athlete, (bicycle racer) and I go to regular checkups at a sport clinic. They check what they call VO2max. that means – the oxygen volume that you consume. Unfortunately you can’t do this at home, but doctors recommend a yearly checkup here is a short video that explains it and say how to check it up and how to improve it:
