speed shock

speed shock,
a sudden adverse physiologic reaction to IV medications or drugs that are administered too quickly. Some signs of speed shock are a flushed face, headache, a tight feeling in the chest, irregular pulse, loss of consciousness, and cardiac arrest.

RE: Speed shock at M6 roadworks - I expect the thousands of pounds s they rake in might ease their grief a little, and how come I followed a camera van at 80mph on the A46 last week?
He's not likely to get a speed shock riding Let's Celebrate, but any experience of a new course is valuable to a jockey.
