spas·tic my·dri·a·sis

pupillary dilation due to contraction of the dilator muscle of the pupil induced by adrenergic drugs or by stimulation of the sympathetic pathway.

spastic mydriasis

Mydriasis resulting from overactivity of the dilator muscle of the iris or of sympathetic nerves supplying that muscle.
