Spam Zombies Home computers that have been taken over by spammers who then use them to send spam in a way that hides the true origin.
However, at present, spam might not appear plentiful as ever, since the spammers are getting distracted which is reflected in their recent step to utilize home computers as spam zombies (zombies sent e-mail spam to several users remotely).
If a user opens the attached file, the malware attempts to shut down the PC's security programs, scans for e-mail addresses to send out copies of itself, and installs various malicious programs that, among other things, turns the computer into a spam zombie.
