n Latin name:
Convolvulus scammonia; part used: plant; uses: pain reliever, contract bodily tissues, diuretic, hemorrhoids, diarrhea, sore throat, ulcers; precautions: may cause gastrointestinal disturbances. Also called
common silverweed, eged's pacific silverweed, genserich, gumusu besparmak, silverweed cinquefoil, wild tansy, yerba plateada, and
zilverschoon.
