sialodacryoadenitis

severe, transient inflammation of the salivary and ophthalmic glands in suckling rats caused by a coronavirus. Affected animals have exophthalmos, swelling of the face and neck and red pigmentation around the eyes. There may be a secondary conjunctivitis and keratitis.
