A group of cancer targets introduced in the UK in 2009, which are based on referrals from NHS screening services (NHS Bowel Cancer, Breast, and Cervical Screening Programmes), and subject to a 62-day pathway, beginning from the day that the referral is received. The standards set out in the post-2009 62-day targets (standard pathways) also apply to screening referrals.
