samadhi

A term which, in the Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, yogic and other Eastern schools of philosophy, corresponds to the highest level of concentrated meditation (dhyana).

samadhi (säˑ·m·dhē),

n bliss; union with the supreme, one of the eight limbs or paths of Patanjali yoga aimed at self realization and self-knowledge. See also yama, niyama, asana, pranayama, pratyahara, dharana, and dhyana.
