n by common usage, a device used to remove debris and fluids by negative pressure. Another term is

n a device (containing a removable tip) that is attached to a vacuum supply to remove saliva from a dental field of operation.

n a removable tip, made of metal, glass, rubber, plastic, or a combination of these, that is attached to a saliva ejector and bent to fit over lower teeth and reach the floor of the oral cavity.
