1. Of the nature of, or having the quality of sugar or saccharin.
2. Containing or yielding sugar.
3. Excessively sweet or sweet to the point of sickness.

saccharine

A sweetening agent with no caloric or nutritional value, that is excreted unchanged in the urine. It is said to be 550 times sweeter than sugar.
