a nondepolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent.
indication It is prescribed as an adjunct to general anesthesia in providing skeletal muscle relaxation.
contraindication It should not be given to patients with a known hypersensitivity to the product.
adverse effects The side effects most often reported include nausea, vomiting, respiratory problems, arrhythmias, hiccups, injection site edema, and rash.
