Other Greek press reports say the Restis Group is interested to wrest control of 51% controlling stake of Aspis Bank.
Al Mubarak, who is head of the Abu Dhabi-government owned Mubadala Development Company, is joined on the board by Simon Pearce, Martin Edelman and Victor Restis, while Garry Cook remains as executive chairman and Taweesuk Jack Srisumrid as a director.
Dr Thaksin's stake has been reduced to 10%, although he will have two representatives on the board in Taweesuk 'Jack' Srisumrid and Victor Restis.
