Red cestrum (Cestrum elegans) is a plant from tropical Mexico with wine-red flowers that can bloom at almost any time but are especially noticeable under gray November skies.
The violet blue of mounding morning glory shows up well against the butter yellow of Jerusalem sage, the rose pink of Peruvian lily, and the deep scarlet of red cestrum (Cestrum elegans).
