verb A manoeuvre that may be used in MRI for differentiating between benign tumours and cysts——which have clear borders and homogeneously high signal intensity—of the oral cavity and maxillofacial region without using contrast enhancement, by repeating the windowing for brightness and contrast adjustment on T2-weighted images.
