Granuloma gravidarum, pregnancy tumor An exuberant, pyogenic granuloma-like inflammatory response of pregnant gums to an overhanging margin of tooth filling or crown with excess calcium buildup; PGs occurs in the 1st trimester in ±1% of pregnancies, grow until delivery and regress spontaneously without therapy, but may re-appear with subsequent pregnancies
