postmortem graft

Etymology: L, post, after, mors, death; Gk, graphion, stylus
the transplanting of a cornea, artery, or other body part from a deceased person to repair a defect in a living body. Also called cadaver graft.

postmortem graft

Tissue taken from a body after death and stored under proper conditions to be used later on a patient requiring a graft of such tissue.
