PDE11A

A gene on chromosome 2q31.2 that encodes a cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase, which hydrolyses cAMP to 5’-AMP and cGMP to 5’-GMP, downregulating cAMP and cGMP signalling.

Molecular pathology
PDE11A mutations may cause Cushing disease and adrenocortical hyperplasia.
