A hypothetical line curving through the center point of the pelvic plane of outlet, the pelvic plane of least dimension, the pelvic plane of greatest dimension, and the pelvic plane of inlet. Also called plane of pelvic canal.

an imaginary curved line that passes through the centers of the various anteroposterior diameters of the pelvis.
