n a derivative of pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) reported to have beneficial effects on lipid metabolism, thus improving serum levels of triglycerides, LDL, and HDL. No known precautions.

Pantethine The biologically active co-enzyme similar to vitamin B5 is the precursor for coenzyme A.
