Paecilomyces
a genus of soil-inhabiting imperfect fungi which are sometimes found as contaminants of the skin and oral mucosa. See also hyalohyphomycosis.

Paecilomyces fumosoroseus
associated with cutaneous and disseminated infections in dogs and cats.
Paecilomyces varioti
an opportunistic fungal infection of the respiratory tract of birds.
