outlet /out·let/ (-let) a means or route of exit or egress.
pelvic outlet  the inferior opening of the pelvis.
thoracic outlet  the irregular opening at the inferior part of the thorax, bounded by the twelfth thoracic vertebra, the twelfth ribs, and the lower edge of the costal cartilages.
