1. pertaining to the mouth and pharynx.
2. pertaining to the oropharynx.

oropharyngeal (ôr´ōfrin´jēl),
adj in anatomy, being part of or related to the oropharynx, the region of the pharynx that lies underneath the soft palate and posterior to the oral cavity.

oropharyngeal
pertaining to the mouth and pharynx. Called also O/P.

oropharyngeal membrane
a transient embryonic membrane which separates the stomodeum from the pharyngeal cavity in the early fetus. Called also oral plate.
