WASHINGTON -- Clinicians ignored more than half of drug allergy warnings generated by computerized physician order entry programs, based on a review of nearly 30,000 medication orders for 2,732 hospitalized patients.
9 percent of doctors are using EHRs with patients, bur it also cautions that only about 10 percent are using "fully operational" systems that include decision support and computerized physician order entry (CPOE).
Sequest was asked to develop a Computerized Order Entry (CPOE) and an electronic Medication Administration Record (MAR) for the physicians of La Hacienda.
