odontogenic fibrosarcoma

fibrosarcoma /fi·bro·sar·co·ma/ (-sahr-ko´mah) a malignant, locally invasive, hematogenously spreading tumor derived from collagen-producing fibroblasts that are otherwise undifferentiated.
ameloblastic fibrosarcoma  an odontogenic tumor that is the malignant counterpart to an ameloblastic fibroma, within which it usually arises.
odontogenic fibrosarcoma  a malignant tumor of the jaws, originating from one of the mesenchymal components of the tooth or tooth germ.

odontogenic fibrosarcoma,
a malignant neoplasm of the jaw that develops in a mesenchymal component of a tooth or tooth germ.

fibrosarcoma (fī´brōsärkō´m),
n a malignant mesenchymal tumor, the basic cell type being a fibroblast. Most fibrosarcomas are locally infiltrative and persistent but do not metastasize.

n an extremely rare malignant form of odontogenic fibroma.

fibrosarcoma
a sarcoma arising from collagen-producing fibroblasts. They occur in many organs and cause well-identified syndromes, e.g. oral, nasal, gastric.
