A series of experiments in broilers showed that avoparcin, nitrovin, tylosin, flavomycin, and lincomycin caused increased shedding of Salmonella in most experiments, while virginiamycin and bacitracin had little or no effect and sodium arsenilate decreased shedding (9-11).
