mycotic granuloma of the larynx,
a chronic throat condition characterized by white patches on an otherwise bright red mucous membrane. In the southwestern United States it is associated with histoplasmosis of the larynx. It may also be caused by candidiasis as a complication of chemotherapy or an altered immune state.
