Multifocal
Having many focal points. In progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy, it means that damage caused by the disease occurs at multiple sites.

characterized by more than two ectopic foci that pace the heart. The foci may be atrial or ventricular.

a fatal disease of Limousin and Simmental calves, beginning at about a month of age with blindness and dysmetria (Limousins) or at 5-8 months of age with signs of ataxia and weight loss (Simmentals).
multifocal syndrome
neurological signs indicating more than one lesion site. Usually seen with infectious diseases of the brain or degenerative storage diseases.

Multicentric adjective Having many points of origin, as in a multifocal cancer with a primary tumor and scattered satellites of cancer in surrounding tissues
