monoecious /mo·noe·cious/ (mo-ne´shus) having reproductive organs typical of both sexes in a single individual.
mo·noe·cious or mo·ne·cious (m-nshs)
adj.
1. Having unisexual reproductive organs or flowers, with the organs or flowers of both sexes carried on a single plant, as in corn.
2. Hermaphroditic.

trelawniensis, and it is known that monoecy occurs in Bernardia but not in Lasiocroton (Radcliffe-Smith, 2001; Webster, 1994).
There are about twice as many monoecious (9%) and dioecious (9%) species in the Juan Fernandez Archipelago as there are in angiosperms as a whole (5% and 4% for monoecy and dioecy, respectively; Richards, 1997).
