Q. what are the requirements of getting medicinal marijuana? i'd like to know the requirements of getting prescribed medicinal marijuana. i have heard alot about health benefits of moderate use of marijuana or should i refer to it as cannabis.

A. cannabinoid drugs have therapeutic value particularly for symptoms such as pain relief, control of nausea and vomiting, and appetite stimulation. as an example- some cancer patients have loss of appetite and nausea because of chemo, this is a cause for medicinal marijuana. Since 1996, twelve states have legalized medical marijuana use: AK, CA, CO, HI, ME, MT, NV, NM, OR, RI, VT, and WA.

Q. what does moderate drinking mean? I am addicted to drinks… oops! Not water but alcohol. My well-wishers advised and requested me to drink moderate. Is it so? If I have to hate my habit then I want to know what does moderate drinking mean.

A. If you think you are addicted to alcohol,there is no such thing as moderate drinking.one way to find out is to see how long you can go without a drink(1 month).You should find as much info on alcoholism as you can,If you are young now an i think you are-slow down if you are not adicted to alcohol.prolonged use can cause.alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver-alcoholic psychosis/carddiomyopathy-fetal alcohol syndrone/prolonged alcohol use can lead to imparement of the brain/nervous system/coronary heart disease/hypertention/stoke and digestive system problems(gastritis/ulcers-if you find you do have a problem go to alcoholics anonymous-you can find them on the web or they have a 800#-you do not have to pay, just go 30 meeting in 30 days-GOOD LUCK-mrfoot56-peace

A. Thank you Zakary. Though there are many symptoms of autism, a child should definitely be evaluated for autism immediately, if he or she has: No babbling by 12 months, No gesturing (pointing, aving bye-bye, etc.) by 12 months, No single words by 16 months. No two-word (not just echolalic) phrases by 24 months, any loss of any language or social skills at any age.
