Misogyny may indeed fester under Islam, but let us not wag our Christian fingers in sanctimonious rebuke until our own house is in good repair.
At the risk of being accused of misogyny, it seems to me that women in politics are far deadlier than the male.
MPs are not trying to return to a more pure existence; they are taking you back to a time when intolerance, ignorance and misogyny were accepted.
