A reduced mesobilirubin with no double bonds between the pyrrole rings and, consequently, colorless.

/meso·bil·i·ru·bin·o·gen/ (-bil″ĭ-roo-bin´ah-jen) a reduced form of bilirubin, formed in the intestine, which on oxidation forms stercobilin.
