mean cell hemoglobin concentration (MCHC)

the average percentage of hemoglobin per red blood cell computed as the ratio of the hemoglobin to the hematocrit. The MCHC adult reference interval is 32% to 36% in adults.

mean cell hemoglobin concentration

The average concentration of hemoglobin in a given volume (usually 100 ml) of packed red blood cells, obtained by multiplying the number of grams of hemoglobin in the unit volume by 100 and dividing by the hematocrit.
