Play provides an outlet for releasing tension and stress, as well as a means for testing and experimenting with new or fearful roles or situations. It is an indispensable part of the nursing care of children, especially in the hospital. It helps relieve the tension and anxiety of being in unfamiliar surroundings and separated from parents, and it gives the child a sense of security and a means of expressing fears and fantasies. Play also offers the nurse one of the most effective methods of communicating with and gaining the trust of the child and helping him or her to understand treatments and procedures. Kinds of play include active play, associative play, cooperative play, dramatic play, parallel play, passive play, skill play, and solitary play. See also play therapy.

Q. what is a sentimental abuse? in what ways does it show? i think my boyfriend is abusing me and playing with my emotions , does it call "Sentimental Abuse" , who do i need to see to get over it ?

A. In any situation any kind of abuse is wrong... If he is playing with your emotions sometimes it is good to see a councellor or someone you can talk to to get your feelings out in the open, sometimes it works sometimes it don't.... I just got out of an abusive relationship although it was not my emotions he was playing with it still helped to seek out someone that will listen maybe give suggestions on how you can either get out or fix the problem.

Q. i'm 23 years old and i play Basketball,recently i suffer from a Knee problem, what med. can i use to ease it? can someone recommend me about any thing to help me ease the pain in my knee ? should i go to the Doctor to do a scan for my knee ?

A. no medication will "cure" you. it can ease pain but pain is usually there for a reason, it says- something is wrong. there are numerous tests that an orthopedic Dr. can preform. here is a web site with information about knee problems,screening methods and treatments:

Q. How can some one make his sexual play long still erecting?

A. an erection is formed when two muscles clamp the vain taking out blood from the penis. then it fills up the penis until it gets hard. but eventually the blood must flow ..and after maximum 30 minutes - the muscles start to loosen up.
