(mag'nĕ-ton),
A unit of measurement of the magnetic moment of a particle (for example, atom or subatomic particle).

magneton

(mag′nĕ-ton″)
The unit of nuclear magnetic force. The nuclear magneton is the unit for magnetic dipole moments of heavy particles. The Bohr magneton is used to measure the dipole moment of the electron, which is much higher.
