And now there are signs of resistance emerging to the third major group of anthelmintics, the macrocyclic lactones (ivermectin and moxidectin).
According to Fort Dodge Animal Health's Andrew Wylie, some flocks in Scotland have shown multiple resistance to all three wormer groups ( the benzimidazoles, the levamisoles and the avermectin subclass of macrocyclic lactones (ML) which include ivermectin and doramectin.
About Novolimus and Myolimus Novolimus and Myolimus are macrocyclic lactones in the same family as Rapamycin.
