an infectious granuloma of the lymphatic system. The term is used to identify several inflammatory, granulomatous or sarcomatous disorders, such as Hodgkin's disease, lymphadenoma, lymphadenoma venereum, and sarcoidosis.

lymphogranulomatosis

An obsolete term for: 
(1) Any benign or malignant lymphadenopathy; 
(2) Hodgkin lymphoma, see there;
(3) Any lymphoma (lymphogranulomatosis is commonly used in Russian medical literature).
